Information the Game Collects
Your progress is saved on your device. If you are signed in to Google Play Games (Android) or Steam (PC), the platform can also keep a cloud copy so you can restore it on another device. The services listed below (ads, analytics, crash reporting, purchases) collect their own data, described in each section.
This Website
This website does not use cookies, analytics or advertising. It is hosted on Cloudflare, which processes technical data such as IP addresses to deliver and protect the site. Cloudflare privacy policy: https://www.cloudflare.com/privacypolicy/
Advertising
The game shows ads provided by Unity LevelPlay (Unity Ads and the ad networks it works with). Some ads are optional rewarded videos that you can choose to watch in exchange for in-game rewards. To show and measure ads and to prevent ad fraud, ad providers collect your device's advertising ID, your IP address (from which an approximate location is derived), device information such as model and operating system, and how you interact with ads.
Where the law requires it (for example in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and some US states), the game asks for your consent before showing personalised ads. If you decline, you still see ads, but they are not based on your interests. You can also reset your advertising ID or opt out of ads personalisation at any time in your device settings.

Analytics
We use Unity Analytics to understand how the game is played and to improve it. It collects game events (such as sessions, levels played and in-app purchases), device model, operating system, country and a randomly generated installation identifier. Unity processes this data on our behalf and does not use it to show you ads.
Where the law requires it, analytics only starts after you agree to it. You can ask us to delete your analytics data at any time (see “Deleting Your Data” below).

Crash Reporting
When the game crashes or hits an error, it may send a report to Unity Cloud Diagnostics so we can fix the problem. A report can include the device model, operating system version, game version and technical details about the error. It does not include your name or contact details.

In-App Purchases
Purchases are processed by Google Play or Steam under their own terms and privacy policies. To deliver what you bought, we receive a purchase confirmation with an order ID, the item bought and the date. We never receive your payment card or bank details.
Children
Cosmochi is intended for players aged 13 and over and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13; if you believe a child has used the game and data was collected, contact us and we will delete it.
Sharing
We do not sell your personal data. Apart from the providers listed above, we only share data when the law requires it, to protect the rights and safety of our players or ourselves, or with a company that takes over the game, which would have to respect this policy.
How Long We Keep Data
We keep analytics data and crash reports only as long as we need them to improve the game, and we delete them sooner if you ask. Ad providers keep their data under their own privacy policies, linked above. Your game progress stays on your device until you uninstall the game or clear its data, and in your platform's cloud save until you delete it there.
Deleting Your Data
To have the data Cosmochi collected about you deleted:
- Email [email protected] with the subject “Cosmochi data deletion request”.
- Tell us your device model and roughly when you played, so we can find your data. We may ask for a detail from the game to confirm the request is yours.
- We confirm your request and complete it within 30 days.
We delete the analytics data, crash reports and purchase records we hold that are linked to your device, and we forward the request to Unity so it deletes the ad and analytics data it holds for us. We only keep what the law requires us to keep, such as purchase records needed for tax and accounting, for the period the law sets. Google Play and Steam keep their own records of your purchases under their policies.
You can delete your game progress yourself: uninstall the game or clear its app data, and delete the cloud save from your Google Play Games or Steam settings.
Your Choices and Rights
Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR in the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom, the CCPA in California, or Argentina's Personal Data Protection Law 25.326), you may have the right to access, correct, delete or receive a copy of your data, and to object to or limit how it is used. To use any of these rights, email [email protected]. We will not treat you differently for doing so. You can also complain to your local data protection authority.
Changes to This Policy
If this policy changes, we will post the new version on this page and update the effective date above.
